The B.A.E. in Special Education provides courses for Arizona dual certification for teaching K-12 special education and 1-8 elementary education . Graduates receive cross-categorical endorsements to teach students with mild disabilities in the categories of learning disabilities, behavior disorders, mental retardation, orthopedic impairments, and traumatic brain injury.
