Manage student behavior using effective disciplinary practices and procedures which do not undermine the dignity or basic human rights of the students; 7. Follow policies, statutes, and rules established by federal and state law as well as by pertinent state and local agencies in regard to behavioral and disciplinary procedures; 8. Demonstrate effective communication skills required to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals; 9. Create a safe, efficient, and supportive learning environment; and 10.
