Boston University Post-Master's certificate Rehabilitation Counseling : The Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Rehabilitation Counseling (C.A.G.S.) is an advanced professional program in rehabilitation counseling for individuals who desire training beyond the master's degree level and who wish to specialize in psychiatric rehabilitation , vocational evaluation, industrial rehabilitation , and disability management, or other idea of interest. Completion of a master's or doctoral degree, or equivalent post-baccalaureate professional degree, from an accredited institution is required for admission. The program is comprised of academic coursework and advanced counselor training, including an internship of three days per week. CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS -A minimum of 32 credit hours at the graduate level is required for the certificate . Determination of credit and internship requirements will be made for individual students at admission upon consultation with their advisor. -All degree requirements must be completed within five years after matriculation -Overall grade point average of B or higher must be maintained, and a grade of B or higher must be achieved in rehabilitation counseling practica. -No more than 4 credits of Independent Study are allowed.
