All graduate students in Plant and Environmental Sciences must select an advisor before admission. A dissertation based on original research is required for the Ph. D. degree. There is no semester hour requirement, however the plan of course work is based on student interests and dissertation emphasis, as determined in consultation with the major advisor and graduate committee.
