This program offers the students a unique combination of management, design, and hands-on experience. Through a series of construction management courses, students learn about the construction industry as a whole and analyze the interrelationships of the various organizations within the industry. In the laboratory, students master blueprint reading, quantity take-offs, and the estimating of residential and commercial projects.A minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required for graduation with an A.A.S. degree in Construction Management Engineering Technology . Graduates qualify for positions such as construction managers, supervisors, building inspectors, contractors, field clerks, purchasing agents, surveyors, expediters, estimators, and construction materials salespersons.
