In addition, students may complete elective courses in surveying, engineering and technology through the Civil Engineering Technology program and other academic units at FAMU. All graduates are encouraged to become Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) certified, complete at least two (2) internships, and demonstrate competency in computer programming and software applications.
