Accreditation The associate degree program at Greenville Technical is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) and meets the educational standards for a Health Information Management program.Upon completion of the associate degree program, graduates are eligible to take a national certification examination. Upon satisfactory completion of the certification examination, the credential of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) is awarded. The profession requires no patient contact.
