Its diverse and accomplished faculty consists of nationally recognized scholars in a wide range of fields, from opera and gay and lesbian studies to disability studies, English and American literature, and literary theory. Our faculty is committed to serving students and developing their talents???in classroom discussions about literary texts; in one-to-one conferences, where students can hone their writing; and in graduate instruction, where developing professionals can enhance their skills. Students who pursue creative writing have the chance to work with award-winning authors in small classes designed to shape and nurture their talent.
