The undergraduate program in health education is designed to prepare students to teach preventive health strategies. More specifically, they learn to facilitate the voluntary adoption of actions which are conducive to the health of individuals, groups, or communities. To earn a degree , each student must complete the health education core requirements, and then complete additional coursework and field experience in one of two emphasis areas (school health , community/worksite health).
