Chemistry students enjoy lab projects and science seminars, and research opportunities are available for all students. The chemistry and biochemistry B.S. programs are pre-professional in nature and attractive to pre-med students, as well as to those who wish to pursue chemistry. The biochemistry degree may be declared in either the chemistry or biological sciences department. Students who do not wish to pursue graduate study in chemistry may elect the B.A. program.
