Can the cardiac electrophysiology certificate be completed online, with approved clinical experiences near the student's home? I live in NJ, but I am interested in the certificate program in electrophysiology at Loma Linda University. I am an RN with a BSN degree and I currently work in an EP lab (for 3 years).

Having previous health care experience is a mast in order to be eligible for this degree. I see you are RN with a BSN degree and solid experience, so I think you can qualify, but it is better to contact directly the university. The program also have a practical part, with students obtaining almost 900 clinical hours at several clinics, so you will have to be present there. It is my understanding that this program is not actually a 100% online degree, having a practical part that can't be completed without your physical presence. Maybe labeling it as an online degree is just a mistake, I don't know. You have all the contact data for the Loma Linda University here, I think it is better to check with them directly: http://www.asktostudy.com/college-directory/loma-linda-university/page-1/3478.html
