The radiologist assistant also makes initial observations of diagnostic images but does not provide an official interpretation. The Program The student will receive didactic and clinical mentoring in neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Courses will be a mix of discussion, projects, case studies, and Web-based learning. Students are responsible for finding their own clinical site and radiologist mentor. This is an online/blended program. Students need to be on campus one week in the Autumn Quarter and one week in the first Winter and Spring Quarters and one week in the final Spring Quarter. The rest of the time, coursework is taken online within Loma Linda University's web-enhanced learning environment.
