The Dietetics program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation and Dietetics Education (CADE). Successful completion of the Bachelor of Science in Dietetics allows students to apply for accredited dietetic internships. After successful completion of the internship and the credentialing examination, students may begin a career as a Registered Dietitian. Madonna University offers small classes, individual attention and assistance with internship applications. Students maintaining at least a 3.0 G.P.A. have a more than 90 percent placement rate for internships. Graduates may pursue careers in nutrition support, critical care, senior centers, nutritional counseling centers, sports nutrition, pediatric nutrition, corporate wellness programs, renal clinics, and food service management.
