The program includes lectures, demonstrations, small and large group discussions, and practicum. Class meets Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. On clinic days, class meets from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Beginning second quarter, students are required to volunteer in a dental office a minimum of two hours per week after school. The last six weeks of the program is full-time internship at dental offices and/or clinics. The hours during internship vary depending on the intern site.
