Clinical placements are offered both on campus and off campus. Clinical facilities at Rush University Medical Center include the following: Johnston R. Bowman Health Center, serving the elderly and rehabilitation patients The audiology and speech-language pathology outpatient clinic Rush Children\\\'s Hospital Rush geriatric interdisciplinary team training program. Additional placements are available through an extensive network of Chicago-area hospitals, schools, private practices, rehabilitation agencies, clinics and specialty settings During the third year of the program, students complete an investigative project. Under the guidance of a faculty advisor and project committee, the student selects a specific clinical or professional issue to research and analyze.
