Respiratory care services are provided in all health care facilities (acute, subacute/long term, skilled nursing) and in the home. Career Opportunities Graduates of the respiratory therapy program in the past have enjoyed 100 percent employment rate. It is expected that the field will increase 50 percent, with most openings in acute care. Most graduates seek their first employment in acute facilities; but positions are available in clinics/physician offices, pulmonary rehabilitation, long term care and home care.
