Recommended course work includes: (1) physical sciences: civil engineering, geology, geomorphology, hydrology, meteorology, environmental engineering, soils, water chemistry, hydrogeology, hydrogeochemistry and geographic information systems; (2) biological sciences: ecology, entomology, fishery biology, forestry, microbiology, water quality and limnology; and (3) social sciences: administration, economics, government, history, law, ethics, philosophy and policy.
