German from The University of Texas at Austin is a Campus Bachelor Language degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The Undergraduate Advisor will request a reduction in the residency hours requirement from Liberal Arts and be responsible for determining the course equivalency and grade in the Taos matter; the student is responsible for having the UNM hours transferred to UT. The Undergraduate Advisor is also the liaison to the UT Study Abroad Office and will determine course equivalency, hours, and grades for study abroad transfers. The Study Abroad hours are considered to be UT residency. The upper-division major courses listed above are not offered in the Summer Sessions. German majors should take GER 328 as their first upper division German course. They must follow up with (or undertake concurrently) a course in the 330s before moving on to courses in the 340s.
