"The ATC Surgical Technology program is accredited the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)upon recommendation of the Accreditation Review Committe on Education in Surgical Technology (ARC-ST). Students will be required to participate in off campus training in working clinical facilities therefore students will need reliable transportation, since assigned clinical sites are off campus. AHS 102 and BIO 112 must be successfully completed prior to entry into the program. Note: The student must obtain certification in CPR and provide documentation of a physical exam, TB test, VDRL, Hepatitis B vaccine series and health and liability insurance prior to clinical participation.
