Due to our accreditation by the American Dental Association, students are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board General Chairside Examination upon graduation. Successful completion of this exam in addition to the ICE and RHS exams earns the title of Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). (Graduates of a non-ADA accredited program must work for two years to be eligible for certification!) Courses include: * Chairside Dental Assisting * Dental Materials * Dental Anatomy * Anatomy and Physiology * Radiology * Microbiology and Infection Control * Professional Development (including Psychology and Ethics) * Dental Office Procedures * Clinical experience: approximately 350 hours.
