Teaching Integrated Science from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids is a Campus Master Elementary Education degree that prepares you for a Education career. Candidates who wish to earn the MSE degree with an Integrated Science (DI) endorsement are required to complete 36 credit hours of required coursework and earn a passing score on the MTTC Integrated Science subject area test. All coursework must be completed with a grade of "C" or above. No more than six (6) graduate semester credit hours may be transferred into the program, of which, only one course may be transferred from any given scientific discipline. All prospective students meet with the Director of the Master in Science Education Program to review an exact course of study based upon undergraduate coursework and graduate program goals. Please note that all coursework for the MSE degree must be completed within five years of the time enrolled in the first course. The degree , Master in Science Education, is conferred when the following requirements are met: * A minimum of 36 semester hours of approved graduate coursework in the MSE program; a minimum of 30 credit hours must be taken at Aquinas College . * Cumulative graduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. * Culminating experience (MSE 692: Project Seminar) judged at mastery level. * Payment of all financial obligations to the College. * Proper application for the degree. It is the student's responsibility to initiate the application process two semesters prior to the anticipated completion of the program or after the completion of 30 credits.
