Fire Service Administration from Arizona State University at the Polytechnic Campus is a Campus Master Fire Management degree that prepares you for a Fire Protection career. The fire service administration concentration is the advanced study of fire administration and leadership concepts. Students learn concepts and develop skills needed to be effective fire administrators. This program is designed to build a bridge between grounded theory and applied practice. Students completing this program are able to perform the functions of a fire chief in any size public sector fire department, administer fire related programs in the private sector, and conduct meaningful research applicable to fire service programs. The technical concentration is 21-semester-hour, of which five courses plus an applied research project will be required of all students. Students select courses from the list of technical courses or related support electives to complete the balance of the 33 required credit hours.
