Throughout the program, nursing is presented in a caring, holistic framework organized according to the Neuman Systems Model. The nurse is viewed as a person who possesses critical thinking/problem solving skills, integrity, accountability, a theoretical knowledge base, refined psychomotor skills, and a commitment to lifelong learning. The general education component provides foundation and breadth in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
