Utilize proper body mechanics & other self-care techniques to promote ease in working on clients and to avoid injury and physical stress. Use appropriate verbal and listening skills to establish a supportive environment and respond to clients personal concerns that may arise during a massage session. Describe their own approach to personal health, general well being, and wellness concepts so as to be able to discuss healthy choice with clients. Discuss other body/mind approaches to health, wellness, and stress reduction so as to refer clients when available, to other health care practitioners. Effectively organize & lead a presentation to educate the public about the benefits of massage for health promotion.
