Graduates of this state-approved program are eligible to apply to write the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN)*. The program is also accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The ADN curriculum consists of both general education and nursing courses, and can be completed in two years. Nursing courses consist of classroom work and supervised clinical experiences in a variety of settings located in Muskogee, Tahlequah, Tulsa, and surrounding areas. Students are required to take nationally normed tests throughout the curriculum and score in a designated proficiency range. Effective the 2005-2006 academic year , students are required to take a comprehensive NCLEX-RN preparation exam and score in a designated proficiency range prior to graduation.
