Nursing students will be assisted to develop knowledge, attitudes, and skills essential to the practice of professional nursing through active, participatory and culturally diverse learning. The curriculum is designed to assist students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers with an appreciation for the moral, ethical, and cultural dimensions of the issues they confront in an ever-evolving health care system. Graduates of this program are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN licensing exam, which is a standard exam developed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
