Education Waldorf from Bellarmine University is a Campus Master Teaching degree that prepares you for a Education career. Bellarmine University's Master of Arts Degree in Education with a Waldorf Emphasis offers educators an opportunity to become more familiar with Waldorf education and its unique, arts based pedagogy. Waldorf inspired teaching is designed to meet the needs of all learners and is based on best practices in education . It features a deep integration of storytelling, movement, art, music, drama and poetry into the teaching of academic subjects. The deeply integrated presentation of material has been shown to help engage children in the learning process and sustain their mastery of subject matter. This three year program will feature 18 credit hours of core courses and 18 credit hours of courses with a Waldorf emphasis. The Waldorf inspired courses will be offered during a full day two-week institute each summer for three consecutive summers. Students will be in class all day for those two weeks. Core courses are offered in the evening during the fall and spring semesters. Waldorf inspired courses are also available for individuals seeking a KY Rank I certification level or as a non-credit option through the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
