Consistent with this overriding goal, graduates of the program will be prepared to: - Immediately join a technically sophisticated workforce as successful, practicing engineers in a wide range of aerospace engineering fields, including aerodynamics, aeronautics, propulsion, aerospace structures and astronautics, in both industry and government organizations. - Immediately join a technically sophisticated workforce as successful, practicing engineers in a wide range of mechanical engineering fields, including structures, dynamics, controls, and thermal and fluid sciences, in both industry and government organizations. Continuously improve and expand their technical and professional skills through formal means (continuing education and training) as well as through informal self-study (learning new software packages, attending conferences, etc.). In addition, graduates from the program should also be prepared to: Pursue advanced degrees in engineering , business, or other professional fields.
