International Relations International Communications from Boston University is a Campus Master International Relations degree that prepares you for a Human Services career. An understanding of international relations study is necessary for the practice of international communication. This two-year joint degree program prepares students for careers in an international setting working in film and television, journalism, mass communication, advertising, marketing and public relations . Students complete all of the requirements for the MA in International Relations and concurrently enroll in graduate level courses through the College of Communication at Boston University . The two years are split evenly between the two concentrations. During the program, students are encouraged to take both International Relations and Communications courses concurrently rather than focusing one year on each. A focused specialty must be chosen from the options of International Journalism, Public Relations , International Marketing, and Global Communications Technology Policy. Students in this program are also eligible for the London Summer Graduate Internship Program, featuring three relevant courses and internships in government or with top international firms for a total of 16 credits.
