Students are taught and encouraged to maintain integrity and high moral standards in all aspects of their lives. Expected Learning Outcomes It is expected that BYU Construction Management students will: 1. Maintain high moral and ethical standards. 2. Lead the construction process from inception to closeout. 3. Construct sustainable projects that require fewer resources to build and operate during the lifecycle of the project. 4. Build projects more efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. 5. Communicate with and understand the concerns of designers, owners, trade contractors, and building officials. 6. The ability to use cutting-edge construction tools to effectively build and manage construction projects. 7. Desire and pursue lifelong learning and service. 8. Support worth while causes for the benefit of mankind. Achievement of the Program Outcomes is ensured by achieving a set of Course Outcomes. Each course has between five and ten Course Outcomes. Instructors have the flexibility to pursue additional learning but the Course Outcomes are required content for the course, regardless of the instructor.
