Nursing Program Admission Standards Components Must have/maintain to be considered for admissions to NUR program: * High school level algebra, biology with a lab and chemistry with a lab or equivalent college course work (Elementary Algebra-MTH 075, Biology and Human Affairs with Lab-BIO 120/121, Chemistry with Lab-CHE 107-108) with a grade of "C" or better; * BCC GPA of 2.50; * Nurse Entrance Test (NET) percentage score of 70 or higher achieved no earlier than 3 years prior to admission to the nursing program; * Completion of all remedial work as determined by the College Assessment Test. In the event that the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of available seats, priority will be established on the basis of county of residency and number of non-nursing credits completed toward the BCC NUR AAS degree .
