Pastrol Ministry from Caldwell College is a Campus Master Religious Studies degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The M.A. in Pastoral Ministry combines a solid academic foundation in fundamental Catholic theology with practical approaches to pastoral care. The program is designed to accommodate working adults. Students come to campus six Saturdays in the Fall semester, two weekends during the January term, and six Saturdays in the Spring semester. Students also earn six credits through guided independent study in two summer sessions, and evening courses are offered on occasion. This degree program is designed to meet the educational needs of various pastoral ministers of the Church. We are prepared to greet, among others, those who work in pastoral care; education or faith formation; youth ministry; liturgical and sacramental ministry; catechetics; ministry to shut-ins, the aging, and the bereaved; adult spiritual journey; parish administration; and chaplaincy. Our unique setting in a well established, suburban community just 45 minutes from the heart of midtown Manhattan situates us well to meet the needs of leaders from both metropolitan settings as well as smaller population centers.
