The student who successfully completes the Health and Exercise Science recommended pattern will be adequately prepared to transfer to a four-year, allied health (health and/or exercise science, athletic training, health education, HPE teacher education, sports management, etc.) bachelor's degree program. He/she will also be eligible to apply for the American College of Sports Medicine's Certified Personal Trainer and/or Health and Fitness Instructor certification examination and potentially pursue a career as a personal trainer, fitness consultant and/or a health and fitness professional.
