Electrical Technology from Carver Career Center is a Campus Certificate Electrical Engineering degree that prepares you for a Engineering career. Students will study Watts Law, Ohms Law, Electrical Math, Electrical Projects, Grounding, Switching, Wiring, and Services. Students will become proficient in application of the National Electrical Code. The Adult Program is Eleven Months and requires 1250 hours of class work. The High School Program is Ten Months and 1080 hours. Graduates are eligible to take the West Virginia Apprentice or Journeyman's Licensing Exam and receive 30 hours towards an Associates of Science degree at WVUIT.
