Highlights Each semester, Students in Theatre courses write, cast, stage and direct a play at our Paul Robeson Performing Arts Center, to community-wide acclaim. We appreciate the importance of Theatre Arts and intend to grow the Theatre program. Our students in Theatre and English classes have access to programs at the Victoria Theatre, Dayton's historic and premier arts organization. In any post-baccalaureate plan, faculty mentors and the Career Services Center provide support. Careers Theatre courses enrich the B.A. or B.S. degree in any discipline and prepare students with important communication, public speaking, organizational and leadership skills. Preparation For all majors we suggest you complete four years of high school English and two years of a second language. We encourage your enrollment in Advanced Placement (AP) courses and will negotiate credit, placement or exemption for AP scores of 3 (qualified) or higher in the following subjects: Chinese Language and Culture, English Language, English Literature, European History , French Language, French Literature, Spanish Language, World History, and U.S. History .
