Students learn on professional audio and video equipment and are provided experience in numerous areas of production. Students primarily interested in Broadcast Journalism will work in conjunction with the College's Journalism department. Classes in Medial Studies will give students the opportunity to gain skills in writing for broadcast news, announcing and reporting for both radio and television. Production techniques will be covered including: recording and editing audio and visual media. Students will practice in the College's television studio, which is equipped with teleprompter's and a green screen. They will also broadcast live on KCED FM, the campus Radio station.
