Century's Radiologic Technology program prepares you to work in a patient care setting providing diagnostic medical images using radiation for the diagnosis of human diseases and disorders. Our challenging allied health two-year associate of applied science degree will give you the skills and knowledge to assist radiologists in obtaining digital images using the latest medical computer imaging systems. It will also prepare you work in related imaging fields and interact with patients in a caring and compassionate way. Upon graduation you are eligible to take a national certification examination, which will enable you to work nationwide in various settings, including: major medical centers hospitals outpatient facilities and private physician offices Program mission The purpose of the Program is to prepare clinically competent, entry-level technologists capable of practicing independent judgment in performing radiographic procedures that meet community and healthcare industry standards.
