Encourage their success, through a highly accessible faculty, a dedicated program advisor, and a supportive atmosphere A Supportive Environment We appreciate that pre-med students are often high achievers, however many potential students fear a highly competitive atmosphere. At Chaminade, the courses are challenging but students get a lot of support from faculty and peers. One student who transferred to our program described the contrast with her old school in this way: "At my old school ... it's a competitive atmosphere, everybody is working for themselves. At Chaminade, it's not like that. It's more of a team, everybody helps everybody out. The labs are really nice, very clean, you feel like it's very healthy, no carcinogens.
