Management Arts from Charleston Southern University is a Campus Bachelor Management and Innovation degree that prepares you for a Business career. Pre-B.M.A. Admission A student enters the Pre-B.M.A. if fewer than 12 credit hours of the CSU liberal arts core have been earned. The Pre-B.M.A. student cannot enroll in any B.M.A. cohort classes. B.M.A. Cohort Admission A student can enter the B.M.A. Cohort program when: A completed application for admission to the B.M.A. Cohort program has been submitted to the Evening College. The student has earned a minimum of 12 credit hours that can be applied toward the CSU liberal arts core. The student must have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 2.0 in the 12 or more credit hours. Of the 12 or more credit hours earned in the liberal arts core, the student must have completed the following courses: -English 111 and/or pass the English Proficiency Exam -English 112 -Mathematics 105 or higher -COINS 209 or another approved/required computer course The student should be 23 years of age or older. The student should have a minimum of three years of significant, full-time work experience. Graduation Notice: A student may now begin the B.M.A. Cohort courses. Students must complete all required liberal arts core courses and interdisciplinary electives in order for graduation. The total number of hours required for graduation is 125. Highlights of the program: The B.M.A. will follow the cohort approach to learning. The cohort system is expected to operate eight five-week courses per calendar year, allowing students to complete the degree or the B.M.A. Cohort program in approximately 20 months or less. Students will meet one evening per week from 6:00 to 9:50 p.m., with additional required learning assignments/projects of at least 5 hours per week as outlined in the syllabus or by the professor of each course.
