Graphic Design majors study the history of design and work with textural, graphic and visual composition, integrating photography, digital imagery, and other media into their work. All students in the department acquire specific knowledge and skills in photography, design, video, and digital arts , supported by a strong foundation in the liberal arts. Students are also exposed to other creative arts courses outside the major, to insure a broad base of knowledge. In the final year, students concentrate on their primary interests, culminating in a year long Senior Project. Additionally, students who are interested may apply for a career-directed internship.
