Though the program works best for individuals who have had some work experience, internship opportunities are often available for students seeking a position concurrent with their graduate study. The degree is highly individualized and designed to meet the career and personal goals of each student. Master level studies in higher education lend themselves to subfields in the area: History and Philosophy Courses In order to accommodate the schedules of full-time professionals, courses are taught mainly at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Transdisciplinary study is encouraged and students are supported if they wish to take some of their course work in fields other than education.
