Truck Driver Training from Clearfield County Career and Technology Center is a Campus Certificate Land Transport degree that prepares you for a Transportation career. The Truck Driver Training Program is 220 - 320 hours, depending on class size (8-10 week program). The program includes instruction in the classroom and lab, highway, city and range driving time, and observation time on the road. The student will have a minimum of 50 hours behind the wheel time (BTW), 24 hours of road and city driving, and 26 hours of range time. The students will earn their Class A CDL license with Tanker and Double-triple trailer CDL endorsements. Students will also have the option to earn the Hazardous Materials endorsement. A certificate of training will be issued upon completion of state CDL Testing and receipt of their Class A license. This program is certified through the Professional Truck Driving Institute (PTDI).
