Pre-Med - Coe College

Pre-Med from Coe College is a Campus Bachelor Pre-Medical degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. The course of study for Coe Pre-Med normally includes an emphasis on biology and chemistry, with additional study in physics and mathematics. Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa Interaction with alumni and invited speakers in health, medicine, and biomedical research Program Outcomes: When you seek admission to a medical school, grades are important. However, you are also expected to be a well-rounded individual with other interests and achievements. In addition to science requirements, Coe students take courses in the social sciences and humanities. Students who achieve a competitive GPA, do well in their MCATs, and take advantage of the many opportunities that Coe provides, enjoy excellent success rates in medical school admission. The success rate for medical school acceptance at one or more schools for 2001-2006 graduates is 91%.
