The course of study will balance a thorough academic understanding of the youth arts filed with in-depth experience in community-based organizations throughout the course of study. The program will focus on three major areas of professional development; 1) practical skills necessary for operating an organization, 2) theoretical and philosophical aspects of youth development , and 3) understanding the role of the arts in the lives of young people and the way they relate to society at large.
