Identify the distinctive characteristics, needs, and developmental tasks of children, youth, and adults,plus the social trends that affect ministry to these groups. Plan specific programs or ministry events on the basis of biblical goals for the church, target group needs, and written aims. Cultivate skills useful in maintaining healthy personal relationships and conflict management. Identify personal strengths and weaknesses in the areas of character development, administrative abilities, and communication. Motivate and train believers to succeed in their various ministries, whether in the church program or in the community.
