Building Technology Electrician from Community College of Southern Nevada is a Campus Associate Electrical Engineering degree that prepares you for a Engineering career. The Electrician degree prepares students to take the Clark County Journeyman's Electrician's Exam. Open to all students, the course work is provided in the class room and lab. This is the approved technical, core training program for students involved in the non-union State Registered Apprenticeship Program with the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Along with special program courses, academic skills emphasizing math, science, and human relations components are stressed to help students meet the challenges common in the workplace. STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES - Graduates of this program will have the opportunity to: Demonstrate a working knowledge of and the ability to use all tools applicable to the electrical trade.
