Program Objective The MRI Fellowship program offers graduate Radiologic Technologists a unique opportunity to broaden their career alternatives. Students receive didactic and clinical education in state of the art advanced imaging techniques. Upon completion of the program, the student will have completed all clinical requirements for certification exam in Magnetic Resonance Imaging offered by the ARRT. Didactic classes will run for 3 months with a flexible schedule. Clinical rotations will run for 6 months for a total of 9 months. Approximately 150 hours will be dedicated to didactics and clinical rotations will total approximately 750 hours over the 9 month period. Admission Requirements Admission requirements vary by Program. In general candidates for admission are limited to: Radiographers holding a valid ARRT certificate in Radiography and, where appropriate, a valid license. Student Radiographers with a graduation date prior to the start of a given class. Other Radiologic Science practitioners having primary ARRT certification or qualifying for the ARRT examinations in the specialty area. Some background in cross-sectional anatomy.
