The program has subsequently flourished and now students have greater interaction with family physicians during rotations, didactic sessions, and as their faculty advisors. In addition, a quarterly grand rounds lecture series was established to bring leaders in the field of family medicine to the Weill Cornell campus to promote the academic merits of family practice. Over the past years, we have had great success with our Grand Rounds Lecture Series.
