Concert Choir Any student interested in singing may audition for the Concert Choir, which is featured throughout the year at concerts held on campus and is a vital part of the music department. The student needs to set up an audition time with the director. Academic Highlights Courses offered for the serious music student include both performance classes and theory classes. Performance classes include individual lessons in instrumental and vocal music , small ensembles, concert band, jazz band, regional symphony, concert choir and show choir. Other music classes include music theory, ear training and sight singing, and music history. (Computer and synthesizer use is included as part of the theory and ear training curriculum.)
