Course work will include machining processes, CAD/CAM, CNC principles, and other computerized production techniques. Graduates should qualify for employment as a manufacturing technician , quality assurance technician, CAD/CAM technician , team leader or research and development technician. The student will be able to advance in the workplace and develop with new technologies. Manufacturing Technology Program Outcomes Upon completion of all coursework in the Manufacturing Technology Program, the student will be able to: 1. Demonstrate and identify machining set-ups and operations, and the machine ability of different metals, plastics and ceramics parts. 2. Read and understand blueprints and be able to transfer print into a CAD program. 3. Describe how to inspect product in accordance with blueprints. 4. Perform operation on CNC, Lathe, Mills, Turning, CNC Punch and Brake Press. 5. Perform set-up and download information to machines. 6.
